Wetsus Leeuwarden hands over keys to ANF for new premises

Last week the Aqua Nirvana Foundation attended the unofficial opening of the new Wetsus building, where ANF are excited to be moving into at the start of the new year.

Among the guests attending the opening were politician Henk Deinum, alderman of the city of Leeuwarden, and Cees Buisman and Johannes Boonstra, head of ANF’s official partners Wetsus.

On top of what was originally agreed upon, the ANF will be taking supplementary space in the newly built Wetsus building. The new office space will be used by the members of the ANF team, in addition to some of our partnership organisations and the talented researchers we support.

Speaking at the event, Aqua Nirvana Founder Erik Henriksen said: “We are really excited to be moving into this brand new building, which will allow us to work very closely with all the other water organisations based here. This move will help us to take a positive step towards ending the world’s water crisis and deliver our goal of ensuring access to clean and safe water for everyone.”
